Distribution of the Award of Innovation

On November 30^th 2007 the award of innovation of the region Aachen, Germany, has been distributed for the second time. The award of innovation is described as award for particular corporate activities. The laureates have been chosen in the three categories "foundation", "growth" and "small trade".

Within the scope of the awards ceremony in the hall of coronation of the city hall Aachen all of the nominations and the awards have been presented. GIF achieved the award for the development of the Cone Ring Transmission, brief KRG, in the category "growth". The realisation of the cost-effective, environmentally friendly and easy to produce transmission is trend-setting for the global market. At first the KRG shall be installed in small passenger cars. But basically it is suitable for a wide power spectrum.
