6th International Automotive Transmission Symposium

22. November 2007

From the 4th to the 5th of December 2007 the Transmission Expo takes place in the context of the sixth International Automotive Transmission Symposium. Over the years this fair became one of the most important meeting places for transmission developers.

On booth No. 12 in the foyer of the Hotel Maritim Berlin GIF presents highlights of transmissions and measurement technique and informs the attendees to their product range and possibilities of cooperation.

Issue of the symposium is the future role of automotive transmissions. The programme will be completed by a transmission test drive on the ADAC Centre for driving safety in Berlin Brandenburg / Linthe on December 6th. Interested people will have the chance to compare up-to-date transmission concepts and prototypes and can talk with engineers on site. The Cone-Ring-Transmission developed by GIF can be driven, too.

The introductory day addresses itself to newcomers and career changers. Experts of the University of Braunschweig present "Basics and practice of Automotive Transmissions". December 6 to 7 are special days for the theme "Hybrid".

As an official sponsor of the symposium we like to allocate free visitor passes. Please address yourself to info@gif.net, if you are interested. If you like to attend the symposium you will receive a 15% discount if referred to GIF at registration. For further information please contact Mrs. Svea Kramer from the CTI (svea.kramer@informa.com).

With this cost-efficient converter CAN signals are simulated. Furthermore analogue, digital and frequency signals can be converted to CAN messages. On the other hand CAN messages can be transferred to analogue and digital signals, too. Thus, the converter is an attractive instrument, very easy to set up and offering many fields of applications.
