The International Trade Exhibition for General Aviation, short AERO, will take place from April 19 to 22, 2007 in Friedrichshafen, Germany, at which GIF is presented with Automobil-Prüftechnik Landau GmbH at the collaborative booth A5-ALR in hall 5.

AERO is the first European trade show for the General Aviation and takes place every two years. Since Friedrichshafen is a scenic city, AERO is the ideal platform for the European market for General Aviation. Up to 750 exhibitors from 30 nations present their products and services to nearly 50,000 visitors.

GIF as a leading service provider for the automotive industry is aiming to establish itself in the domain transmission development for the aerospace. In collaboration with APL, GIF will present a diesel engine with a specific GIF developed reduction gear for application in private and passenger aircrafts and helicopters. During the development process GIF and APL will cooperate with the Technical University in Aachen.
