Third Symposium on Transmission in Paris

From the 26th to the 28th of September the third CTI-Symposium "Boîtes de vitesses automobiles" takes place in the Dorint Airport Paris-Roissy in Paris.

Highlights of the Symposium are

  • Demands to the engine management system and the improvement of the powertrain
  • Advancement of the DCT-concepts and the hybrid powertrain
  • New realisations for the transmission shift control of automatic transmissions
  • Optimisation of the transmission capacity (clutch, materials and acoustics)
  • System integration of powertrain and transmission.

The issue of the Workshop on the 26th of September is "Intelligent Transmissions and Powertrains for Vehicles". In this, the issues international passenger-car markets and their requirements to the transmission and transmission components will be discussed as well as the aforesaid highlights.

On the 27th and the 28th of September lectures to the aforesaid highlights will be given. Dr. Jan Schlipf, GIF managing director, talks about some new developments of GIF in his speech "Cone-Ring-Transmission for Conventional and Hybrid Powertrains" on Wednesday the 27th of September at 1.00 pm. All lectures will be translated simultaneously to English or French language, respectively.
