From the 5th to the 8th of December 2005 the International CTI-Symposium "Innovative Automotive Transmissions" takes place for the fourth time. This year's venue is the Maritim Hotel Berlin.

On the first day, the 5th of December, a special day takes place. Interested people will be briefed about basic principles and the practice of vehicle transmissions. On the following days the newest transmission developments for passenger cars and commercial vehicles are presented.

At the same time the accompanying exhibition "Transmission Expo" takes place. National and international suppliers of vehicle transmissions and components inform about products and solutions. Numerous correlations exist between these two events. Beside a lot of other exhibitors GIF is represented on the booths 13 and 14.

Matter of interest is the transmission test drive on the 8th of December, too. This year it takes place on the Linthe test site, nearby Berlin. Here current applications become visible in the practice.
